This is a full-time position with benefits.
Summary
Under the direction of the Energy Manager and Agronomy Manager, the Energy Driver & Agronomy Services employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of propane and fuel and providing agronomy products to our Customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to safely operate single or tandem axle trucks, multi-axle configuration trucks for delivery and/or pick-up of energy and/or agronomy products and other equipment as required.
- Upholds the highest standards of safety in the delivery of propane or fuels to end use containers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Aids with crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates, procedures and following all pesticide labels.
Education and Experience
- Requires a High School education or the equivalent thereof.
- Must have and maintain a valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract & minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience
- Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider without restrictions or surcharge.
The Lucknow District Co-operative Inc. is located on Huron County Road #1, south of Lucknow, was established in 1944 and is owned by more than 1,800 local people. The co-operative provides customers of Huron and Bruce Counties with livestock feed, agronomy products and services, consumer goods, including hardware and clothing, petroleum and propane products and services.
