District Co-op now has Land O’Lakes feed. GROWMARK,
the regional co-operative serving Ontario agricultural
co-operatives, has formed an alliance with Land O’Lakes as
its supplier of quality feed services and products for its
members, including Lucknow District Co-operative.
Land O’Lakes is well known to dairy
producers. It is a Minnesota-based co-operative developed in
the 1920s and now serves family farmers and ranchers in the
United States, Canada and Mexico.
Land O’Lakes’ vision is to be one of the
best food and agricultural companies in the world. It operates
multi-million dollar research programs in dairy, beef, swine,
turkey and young animal research and is a member of
Cooperative Research Farms, a multinational research network.
In Ontario, Land O’Lakes feed products are
manufactured to the highest industry standards in central
mills and licensed member-owned mills meeting Land O’Lakes
standards. Land O’Lakes’ specialized feed team and
programs assist us at Lucknow District Co-op to serve
you more effectively.
Most of our feed is now manufactured at
GROWMARK’s Peterborough Feed Plant, operated by feed superstar
Land O’Lakes.
